It became known how many Lebanese left their homes due to Israeli strikes.

About a million residents of Lebanon were forced to leave their homes due to strikes from Israel. This was reported by Acting Prime Minister Najib Mikati.
«In recent days, a large number of people, estimated in millions, have been forced to relocate. It is probably the largest displacement operation in Lebanon's history», - said Mikati, according to the EFE agency.
According to Mikati, the government ordered Lebanon's customs authorities to lift duties on humanitarian aid coming into the country so that it could immediately be at the disposal of the Lebanese authorities.
Since the beginning of last week, Israel has been actively conducting airstrikes on southern Lebanon, destroying Hezbollah's infrastructure.
Recall that on September 27, the Israeli Air Force carried out a strong airstrike on the southern suburb of Beirut, where Hezbollah's main headquarters is located. In this strike, the leader of the movement, Hassan Nasrallah, and other leadership representatives were killed.
UN Secretary-General António Guterres expressed concern about the escalation of the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon, especially after the liquidation of their leader Hassan Nasrallah as a result of Israeli airstrikes on Beirut.
Later it became known that the Israel Defense Forces eliminated the head of Hezbollah's counterintelligence service, Nabil Kaouk. According to IDF data, Kaouk was the commander of Hezbollah's «preventive security unit» and a high-ranking member of the terrorist group's central council.
