The use of drones by Russian invaders is increasing
The Operational Tactical Group 'Kharkiv' reported an increase in the number of drones used by Russian invaders in the Kharkiv direction.
Spokesman for OTG 'Kharkiv' Pavlo Shamshin noted that the number of enemy kamikaze drones has doubled. In February, an average of 70-80 drones were recorded daily, and now their number is about 160. Shamshin emphasized the need to be cautious and not underestimate the enemy, as the Russian army has a high technological base.
'What we observe in our sector – enemy infantry groups are now actively using portable electronic warfare means... so that our drone crews cannot effectively destroy them. But this does not always help them. In addition, they are using certain means for electronic countermeasures. This helps them understand when our drones appear nearby.'said Shamshin.
Russian troops are also using shotguns to knock down Ukrainian drones, which is an effective means.
