Three mandatory subjects of the NMT have been identified: what else do applicants choose.

New testing for entrants to Ukrainian and Polish universities
Instead of the traditional ZNO, in 2025 Ukrainian graduates planning to enter universities in both Ukraine and Poland will take the National Multi-Subject Test (NMT). This information is reported by the information platform 'Spil'no'. The testing will take place in main and additional sessions in six Polish cities.
The NMT includes three mandatory subjects: mathematics, the Ukrainian language, and the history of Ukraine. Additionally, applicants will be able to choose another subject from the proposed list. Polish language entrants will take separately according to the requirements of educational institutions.
The testing will take place in two stages on the same day. The first stage will last 120 minutes and will include tasks in the Ukrainian language and mathematics. After a 20-minute break, participants will face the second stage, in which they must complete tasks in the history of Ukraine and the chosen additional subject. To pass the testing, it is necessary to achieve a minimum passing score, which is 10% of the total score.
Registration for the NMT will take place from March 6 to April 3, 2025. Applicants have the opportunity to change the chosen subject, the city where the test will be held, or apply for an additional session until April 8. The main testing sessions are scheduled from May 14 to June 25, and additional sessions from July 14 to July 25, 2025.
To register for the NMT, you need to visit the website testportal.gov.ua, fill in your personal details, upload the required documents, and confirm your intention to participate. There is also a step-by-step guide and the 'Diia' application for those who need assistance.
Organizers emphasize the necessity of timely registration for the NMT to enter Polish universities. In addition, temporary centers for conducting the testing have opened in five other cities across Europe.
