War is not an obstacle: the number of millionaires in Ukraine has suddenly increased.

The head of the Parliamentary Committee on Finance, Taxation, and Customs Policy, Danilo Hetmantsev, reported that the number of Ukrainian millionaires reached 17 thousand this year. This is 1300 more than in the previous period.

The total income declared by millionaires amounted to 254 billion hryvnias, which accounts for more than half of the total income of Ukrainian citizens - 474 billion hryvnias. This figure has increased by 93.5 billion compared to the previous year. The number of submitted declarations has decreased by 22%, amounting to 363 thousand individuals, which may indicate a trend of citizens relocating.

Ukrainian millionaires continue to increase in number and income, which may indicate certain trends in the financial development of the country. The decrease in the number of submitted declarations may indicate a possible outflow of capital abroad or other factors that influence the tax behavior of citizens.
