Great Threat: Germany Assesses the Possibility of a Russian Attack on NATO.

Russia is rearming itself, which poses a significant threat to NATO
According to Major General Christian Freiding, Russia is providing its armed forces with more than necessary for conducting war with Ukraine and is also preparing for a possible conflict with NATO. The general stated: 'We see that Russian forces are not only able to compensate for huge losses in personnel and material resources, but are also successfully rearming.'
Freiding also pointed out that the Russian army has more tanks, ammunition, missiles, and drones each month, and their production and stockpiles are growing.
Moreover, the general believes that while an attack by Russian forces on NATO in the coming years is unlikely, 'Moscow is creating conditions for this.'
Chairwoman of the Committee on Security and Defense in the European Parliament, Marie Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, also stated that Russia's rearmament is a 'great threat' to Germany and Europe. She emphasized the impressive number of troops and the wide range of powerful military equipment in Russia, as well as the successes of the Russian military industry despite Western sanctions.
