In Ukraine, there will be rain and icy conditions: weather forecast for April 7.


On Monday, April 7, cloudy weather with rain is expected in Ukraine, reports the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
In the eastern and southeastern parts of the country, light rain is expected, which may become moderate during the day. At night, the temperature will range from 3 to 8 degrees Celsius, while during the day it will rise to 6-11 degrees. Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kherson regions may experience ground and air frosts from 0 to 3 degrees Celsius.
In the rest of the territory, light snow is expected, except for the Odesa and Mykolaiv regions and the extreme west of the country, where no precipitation is anticipated. During the day, the temperature will be 1-4 degrees Celsius.
A north-west wind will prevail in most regions at a speed of 7-12 m/s. In the northern, western, and Vinnytsia regions, wind gusts of up to 15-20 m/s are possible.
In the Kyiv region and the capital, cloudy weather with clarifications is expected. Icy conditions may occur on the roads. The wind will be north-west at a speed of 7-12 m/s, and in some places in the region, wind gusts of 15-20 m/s will be observed. The air temperature will range from 0 to 5 degrees Celsius of frost, while during the day it will be 1-4 degrees Celsius. In Kyiv, frosts in the air from 0 to 2 degrees Celsius are expected, and daytime temperatures will be 1-3 degrees Celsius.
The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center warns that from the night of April 7 to April 11, frosts in the air from 0 to -2 degrees Celsius are expected in Kyiv, which is at a yellow level of danger. Meanwhile, in the Kyiv region, frosts will range from 0 to -5 degrees Celsius, which is at an orange level of danger.
Worsening weather conditions are forecasted across Ukraine this night and in the coming days, so drivers and pedestrians should be careful on the roads. The temperature will significantly decrease, and this may last until April 9. Spokesperson for the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, Natalia Ptukha, noted that after April 9, a shift towards more spring-like temperatures is expected.
