The Ukrainian youth national team (U18) has started its campaign at the 2025 World Hockey Championship and is currently fighting for a spot in the elite division of the tournament. This was reported by the information portal Glavkom referring to Suspilne Sport.

The Ukrainian youth national team started the 2025 World Hockey Championship with a crushing victory. This happened after the first match in Division IA against the Hungarian team, where our team achieved a confident victory with a score of 7:1.

The winner of the IA division group will be the team that earns the most points. Last season, the Ukrainian team nearly made it to the elite division, finishing in second place, just ahead of the German team.
