Ukrainians can be fined for money: cash savings will become 'dust'.

In 2025, clear rules are in place in Ukraine regarding the export of money and valuables abroad. According to the legislation, all citizens can export cash and precious metals up to 10,000 euros without declaration. If the amount exceeds this limit, a customs declaration must be filled out. Documents confirming the legality of the funds must be issued no earlier than 90 days before crossing the border. A fine of 20% of the undeclared amount is imposed for failing to declare the amount exceeding the limit.
It is also important to note that the limit of 10,000 euros applies to minors as well. If the amount exceeds this limit, the adult traveling with the child must submit a declaration on their behalf. There are no restrictions on the amount of cash or valuables when entering Ukraine.
