The State Emergency Service reported on the scale of demining since the beginning of the war.


Since the beginning of the Russian aggression against Ukraine, the units of the State Emergency Service have already neutralized over 565 thousand explosive items and nearly 3 thousand kilograms of explosives, including about 4 thousand aviation bombs.
A total area of over 174 thousand hectares has been surveyed.
Over the last day, units of the State Emergency Service were called out 107 times, discovered, removed, and neutralized 235 explosive items, and surveyed an area of 112.66 hectares.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine ensures the detection, neutralization, and destruction of explosive items throughout Ukraine, except for areas used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations.
The State Emergency Service operates in accordance with international mine action standards 'IMAS', which have been implemented in Ukraine.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine has 100 pyrotechnic units consisting of more than 600 individuals, located in all regions of the country.
