The Department of Education stated: 'Disruption of the educational process that harms campuses is unacceptable. Harassment of Jewish students cannot be tolerated. Elite universities must take this issue seriously and commit to making significant changes if they wish to continue receiving funding.'

The freezing of $2.2 billion in long-term grants and $60 million in long-term contracts for Harvard University has been announced.
