Russian court's decision regarding bobsledder Anastasia Tambovtseva
The Russian court supported the bobsledder in her claim against the Russian anti-doping agency, thus nullifying the decision of the Court of Arbitration for Sport regarding her disqualification. On the territory of the Russian Federation, this CAS decision will be invalid.
Anastasia Tambovtseva was disqualified for two years by the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation for using the prohibited substance methylhexanamine. After the CAS decision was confirmed, the athlete filed a lawsuit in Russian court and won the case in her favor.
On the same day, it was also reported that Ukrainian defenders destroyed heavyweight Vladislav Efimov, who had a number of successful performances in sports athletics.
It is important to note that Russian tennis player Polina Kudermetova posted a symbol of aggression against Ukraine - the St. George ribbon, which caused public outrage.
Additionally, in January of this year, it was reported that Russian police detained kickboxer Vitaly Chernei, who was later eliminated by the military in Ukraine.
