Steel Porcupine: EU Responds on Whether to Stop Weapons Supplies to Ukraine.

The European Union is ready to supply arms to Ukraine, regardless of a ceasefire
According to DW, supplies of arms to Ukraine will continue even in the event of protests from the opposing side.
Representatives from several EU countries are demanding that Ukraine take a strong position during the upcoming negotiations.
Diplomats stated before the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting that the European Union aims to give Ukraine an advantage during the peace talks. They also wish for Ukraine to have the ability to reject unfavorable terms of the agreement and choose the best moment for negotiations.
Another diplomat believes that even in the event of a possible ceasefire, arms supplies to Ukraine should continue. He emphasizes that Ukraine must become a 'steel porcupine.'
'Despite the ongoing hostilities, we must make Ukraine a strong adversary. The EU should not reduce support for Ukraine even in case of a truce. Our task is to help Ukraine establish a strong position. We want Ukraine, being in a strong position, to improve its defensive capabilities and continue to deter the enemy in case of new hostilities,' EU representatives explained.
