Justice is inevitable. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reacted to Putin's statement regarding the attack on Dnipro.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (MFA) stated that the Russian President Vladimir Putin's statement about launching a ballistic missile against Ukraine confirms Russia's intention to continue its aggressive war. According to the MFA, the only way to stop the aggression is to adopt the approach of 'peace through strength.'
The MFA noted that Putin's statement is an important piece of evidence of Russia's guilt in its aggression against Ukraine and crimes against Ukrainians. The agency also stated that it would use these admissions to hold Putin accountable.
The MFA sees Putin's statement as evidence of Russia's interest in continuing the war. It calls on nuclear club countries to ensure Russia's security and warn it against nuclear weapon threats.
The MFA rejects Putin's accusations against Ukraine and reminds that Ukraine has the full right to defend itself against aggression and to strike targets on the territory of the Russian Federation in accordance with international law. According to diplomats, today's statement by Putin confirms that he is an obstacle to stopping the war and restoring peace. The MFA calls for a peaceful resolution of the conflict and respect for international law and Ukraine's sovereignty.
In his statement, Putin announced the successful testing of the ballistic missile 'Oreshnik', which was launched against Ukraine. The Russian president claims this is a response to the US plans to deploy missiles in Europe. He also noted that the missile was not equipped with a nuclear warhead.
According to Ukrainian military sources, Russia struck Dnipro with intercontinental ballistic missiles of various types. Earlier, the Ukrainian Air Force reported a preliminary launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile 'Rubizh' from the Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation.
