Spied on the Armed Forces of Ukraine - Scandalous American Received Russian Passport.

The conviction that Russia is not only my home but also my family - I am extremely happy that this is not only in my heart but also by law
American Daniel Martindale received a Russian passport for aiding the occupiers. He lived in Ukraine for two years and spied on the Armed Forces.
This was reported by Russian media.
American Received Russian Passport
It is known that Martindale was issued a Russian passport at the representative office of the so-called 'DPR' in Moscow. The American stated that he wants to live in occupied Mariupol or in annexed Crimea.
'The conviction that Russia is not only my home but also my family - I am extremely happy that this is not only in my heart but also by law' - said Martindale in front of the cameras, according to Sky News.
He also 'thanked the Russian military' who commit war crimes on Ukrainian territory and stated that the aggressor country symbolizes for him 'traditional values'.
What is Known About Daniel Martindale
Martindale had been informing Russians about the location of Ukrainian army units and 'other important information', and in the autumn of 2024, he was 'evacuated' from the combat zone, after which the American applied for Russian citizenship.
The American told pro-Russian bloggers that he arrived in Ukraine shortly before the begining of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, hoping to reach Donetsk. He allegedly contacted the Russian special services himself, who instructed him to go to Vuhledar and wait for the arrival of Russian troops. Martindale said he stayed in the town pretending to be a missionary until the autumn of 2024, when Russian troops captured the settlement after prolonged battles.
Ukrainian journalists found evidence that Martindale could have been recruited by Russian special services as early as 2016-19 when he was studying at university. In 2019, he was deported from Russia for violating labor legislation.
Popular American journalist Daniel Martindale obtained Russian citizenship for cooperating with Russian special services. He lived in Ukraine for two years, spied on the Armed Forces, and provided important information to the enemy. This case is yet another example of criminal activities of the agency in the occupied region, as well as confirming the manipulations of Russian special services in the midst of an information war.Read also
