The Ukrainian team has handed over the aerial reconnaissance system Mines Eye to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. This new drone technology will help with demining faster, more accurately, and safely. Magnetometry, aerial photography, and infrared imaging will allow for the inspection of large contaminated areas with high precision.
Rescuers from the SES have already successfully used this technology in the Kharkiv and Mykolaiv regions
This has allowed for the inspection of over 360 hectares of suspicious territories. The leadership of the service noted the importance of using such systems to ensure safety and promptly detect threats.
'The technological ingenuity of Ukraine, supported by the international community, will help revise the strategy for humanitarian demining ... It is not only about mine calculations but also about returning safety, restoring life, and developing the economy'
In the further implementation of the Mines Eye system and similar technologies, there is great potential for the safety of the population and the restoration of territories affected by conflicts.
Aerial reconnaissance using the Mines Eye system has already been successfully employed by SES sappers in practical activities in the Kharkiv and Mykolaiv regions. This technology ensures quick and accurate detection of suspicious areas, improving the safety of the population and effectively influencing the development of areas affected by conflicts.Read also
