Intelligence Named the Factor That Changed the Nature of the War in Ukraine.

The UK Ministry of Defence reports that mass production of drones has significantly changed the nature of Russia's war against Ukraine.
«The use of unmanned aerial vehicles was a decisive event that changed the nature of the conflict. Since mid-2024, the number of kamikaze drone launches has likely allowed Russia to restore its long-range aviation fleet and associated stocks of cruise and ballistic missiles. This has led to increased tension in Ukraine's air defense,» the report states.
According to the intelligence report, Ukraine has successfully used drones to attack military facilities in Russia in September.
«The total number of munitions destroyed at these facilities represents the largest losses for Russia and North Korea during the war. These attacks highlight the ineffectiveness of the defense of strategic military facilities in Russia from Ukrainian drones,» British intelligence analysts note.
It is noted that earlier, it was stated that Russia attempted to create a modern professional army before the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. However, after 1000 days of war, the Russian ground forces differ significantly from those that initially invaded Ukraine.
