Yevgeny Doga was born on March 1, 1937, and graduated from the Chișinău Conservatory in 1960. Despite the paralysis of his left hand, he continued to actively compose music.In addition to his composition activities, Doga was a teacher of music theory and worked in the USSR awards committee.
