Why did Russia send military instructors to Equatorial Guinea: target named.

According to Reuters, about 200 Russian military instructors have been sent to Equatorial Guinea to ensure the security of President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo. These instructors will train elite security units tasked with protecting the president.
As part of this mission, Russian instructors may be supplemented by military personnel from Belarus and representatives of Russian airborne troops. The main goal is to ensure the security of Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, the president's son who is a multimillionaire and considered a possible successor to his father.
Observers believe that Russia is trying to strengthen its influence in Central and West Africa, particularly in Equatorial Guinea, where thousands of Russian mercenaries are already present, supporting military regimes and assisting them in combating insurgent movements.
President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo has been in power in Equatorial Guinea since 1979, when he seized power through a coup.
