Drivers face a 'surprise': fines for speeding will soon change.

A new system of fines for speeding violations may soon be introduced in Ukraine. Bill No. 13314 proposes a scale of fines depending on how much the speed limit was exceeded.
for exceeding by more than 10 km/h - fine of 340 hryvnias
more than 20 km/h - 680 hryvnias
more than 30 km/h - 1360 hryvnias
more than 40 km/h - 1700 hryvnias
more than 60 km/h - 2720 hryvnias
more than 80 km/h - 3400 hryvnias
If speeding leads to an accident, the driver may lose their driver's license for six months or even a year. This decision has been made to ensure safety on the roads, especially in populated areas where high speed can pose a threat to pedestrians and cyclists.
The authors of the bill believe that speed limits are crucial for reducing accidents. They studied European experience and are confident that the new fine system will help improve safety on Ukraine's roads.
Conclusion
Thus, a new scale of fines for speeding violations may be introduced in Ukraine, aimed at reducing accidents and enhancing safety on the country's roads.
