A resident of Kyiv wanted to bribe a border guard in Vinnytsia region in order to travel to Moldova.

At the checkpoint 'Mohyliv-Podilskyi', a young man tried to bribe border guards in order to cross the border without any problems. This was reported by the Southern Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
At passport control, the man presented documents that did not allow him to leave the country with the reason - accompanying a relative with disabilities. However, the relative did not receive permission to cross the border, but decided to bribe the border guard, offering him 1000 euros. - as stated in the report.
The State Border Guard Service clarified that this fact was recorded and the offender will have to be held accountable according to the current legislation of Ukraine.
It is worth reminding that it was previously known that if a citizen who is required to serve in the military does not report for duty, he faces a fine ranging from 17,000 to 25,500 hryvnias. However, if he does not pay the fine voluntarily, the state can initiate forced seizure of his property.
Earlier, the Khmelnytskyi District Court sentenced a citizen to four years and two months in prison for evading mobilization. This was reported by 'Glavkom' with reference to the court registry data.
Moreover, in one of the universities in Zakarpattia, 225 fake 'students' were identified. The Commission of the Uzhhorod Military Commissariat cancelled the previously granted deferments from military service.
