In Odesa region, grandson and grandfather organized large-scale drug smuggling.


Police reported that in the Odesa region, a joint group of Ukrainians was involved in smuggling drugs abroad. They hid them in the form of children's toys. The group was led by a 22-year-old grandson, and his grandfather and other accomplices also participated in these crimes. Every month, up to 25 international parcels with vacuum-sealed bricks containing drugs arrived from Canada. The leader controlled all processes, and his assistants took responsibility for logistics, finance, production, and distribution. Cryptowallets were used for transactions. As a result of the special operation, the activities of this criminal organization were shut down, 17 people were detained, and over 40 kg of drugs and psychotropics were seized. All the detainees were charged with suspicion.
