In the city of Drohobych in the Lviv region, a dispute arose between a local carrier and the territorial recruitment center. The head of the company LLC 'Sigma', Mykhailo Pastushak, stated that bus drivers would not go on routes on April 5 due to 'constant attempts by the TCC employees to carry out a forced mobilization'. According to him, on April 4, one of the drivers was summoned from work without explanation and taken to the military recruitment office to receive a summons and undergo a military medical commission. 'This is the last straw. Drivers no longer have hope for safe work,' Pastushak wrote in his post, which later disappeared but there are screenshots.
The Lviv regional TCC and SP stated that the information about 'removing a driver from the bus cabin' is false and the notification of mobilization was made in accordance with the law - in a public place, without violating the rights or dignity of a person. They also reminded that employment is not a basis for exemption from mobilization and reserving employees requires action from the employer. 'Why were no drivers reserved? This is a question that has no response from the company management so far,' the statement reads. TCC called on the carrier to address the authorities to resolve the reserving issue and to stop spreading 'unconfirmed, emotional, and manipulative information'. It is also worth mentioning that a new approach to searching for draft dodgers began to be applied in Ukraine.
