The Ministry of Defense has named the most demanded specialties at recruitment centers.

The recruitment centers of the Ukrainian army are operating successfully
Since the opening of the first recruitment center of the Ukrainian army in February 2024, it has become clear that the most sought-after specialties among candidates are those related to unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). According to the Ministry of Defense, 16% of those accepted into the Armed Forces chose this direction. This was reported by 'Glavkom'.
Next in popularity are drivers (15%) and shooting specialties (14%). 9% of candidates received staff positions. Artillery and communication (including cyber communication) make up 6%. Another 5% of candidates who approached the recruitment centers chose medical positions (combat medics, paramedics, nurses, doctors),' the message states.
It is noted that all listed specialties make up 71% of all volunteers who have gone through the acceptance process into the Armed Forces through recruitment centers.
Ukraine has 49 recruitment centers, including an online center. They are mostly located in the premises of administrative service centers and provide consultations on joining the Armed Forces of Ukraine while ensuring confidentiality. Importantly, conducting mobilization activities and handing out summons by notification groups is prohibited at these centers.
Since the start of the recruitment centers' operations, they have been visited by 42,366 people. The proportion of women among candidates for the Armed Forces has increased to 21%.
Expanding Horizons in the Army
The results of the work of the Ukrainian army's recruitment center show that the greatest interest among candidates is attracted by specialties related to unmanned aerial vehicles. This may be due to an increasing interest in modern technologies and their application in the army. It should also be noted that there is a growing interest among women in joining the Armed Forces, which is a positive signal and indicates the expansion of gender equality in the army. Overall, recruitment centers play an important role in attracting new personnel to the Ukrainian army and ensuring its resilience and development.
