Iran Responds to Trump's Ceasefire Statement
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reacted to US President Donald Trump's statement on a ceasefire, assuring that there is no agreement between Israel and Iran. He noted that Iran is only willing to respond if the Israeli side ceases its aggression against the Iranian people. This message was supported by Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who emphasized the determination of the Iranian people and their readiness for resistance.
According to CNN, Iran has not received any proposals for a ceasefire and believes there is no need for such actions.Following the US president's ceasefire statement, Iran responded that it is only willing to retaliate on the condition that Israel stops its aggression. An agreement between the countries does not currently seem likely, and Iranian leaders note their readiness for resistance.
