Contract conditions for young Ukrainians
The Ukrainian army introduces new contract conditions for citizens of Ukraine aged 18 to 24 years. Now they can receive up to 2 million UAH in monetary compensation for participating in combat activities. However, failure to fulfill the contract may result in the return of the funds received.
According to the new rules, citizens of Ukraine aged 18 to 25 years can sign a contract and receive 1 million UAH in monetary assistance. This assistance will be paid in installments, but is also contingent upon participation in combat activities for 6 months. If the contract is not fulfilled, the serviceman must return the monetary assistance.
The contract will be concluded for the positions of shooter, grenade launcher, and scout. In case of refusal to participate in the contract, monetary assistance will not be paid. In addition, the government will provide additional funding of UAH 200,000 per person for the organization of training for contractors.
The new contract conditions will come into effect after the relevant resolution of the Ministry of Defense is adopted.
