Significant Support: Rutte Named the Amount of Security Assistance to Ukraine from the Alliance.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has good news for Ukraine – the alliance continues to support the country in its struggle against Russian aggression. Since the beginning of the year, Ukraine has received more than 20 billion euros in security assistance from NATO partners. Secretary General Rutte emphasized that the alliance continues to coordinate the delivery of aid and training for Ukraine from its base in Wiesbaden. He also mentioned the tragedy that occurred in the city of Bucha a week ago and expressed his support for President Trump for his efforts to end the war and achieve a just and lasting peace. Rutte also congratulated the United Kingdom, France, and other countries that joined in the efforts and ensure the sustainability of peace when the Time comes. The Secretary General stressed that the threat from Russia remains relevant to the alliance and globally. Russia maintains close ties with China, Iran, and North Korea, leading to increased instability in Ukraine and around it. The Secretary General highlighted the need to strengthen NATO, as the forces attempting to destabilize societies through cyberattacks and other provocations, we live in a dangerous world. Therefore, this week the ministers gathered to affirm the alliance's active work towards achieving a common goal – ensuring peace.
