Summer Heat: Naftogaz Advised Ukrainians on How to Reduce Electricity Costs.

The gas supply company Naftogaz of Ukraine provides recommendations to consumers on how to prepare their homes for the summer season. This was reported by the company's press service.
Experts recommend carrying out preventive measures in the spring to reduce energy consumption during hot months. One of the recommendations is to check the tightness of windows and doors and replace them if necessary. This will help prevent overheating of the premises and reduce the load on the air conditioner. It is also recommended to use light or thermal insulation curtains and blinds to protect against sunlight.
In addition, Naftogaz emphasizes proper ventilation. It is recommended to open windows in the morning and evening when the air is cool and keep them closed during the day. This will help save energy.
The company also advises cleaning air conditioner filters and using energy-efficient household appliances, such as modern air conditioners, refrigerators, and LED lamps, to lower electricity costs.
'Take these simple steps now, and your home will be ready for summer!' - the company adds.
Naftogaz has also already determined the gas price until April 2026.
