Contract 18-24: What is known about the brigades where young volunteers can serve.


The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has launched a new project 'Contract 18-24' for young Ukrainians aged 18 to 24 who wish to serve in the Armed Forces for one year. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense press service.
According to information from the Ministry of Defense, this project opens 'new opportunities' for young volunteers, including decent financial compensation, professional military training according to NATO standards, and social guarantees that no civilian profession provides.
List of military brigades
- 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Zaporizhzhya;
- 95th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade;
- 38th Separate Naval Infantry Brigade of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign;
- 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade 'Edelweiss';
- 92nd Separate Assault Brigade named after Ivan Sirko.

The 'Contract 18-24' project has received feedback from serving military personnel. More details about this project will be provided by 'Glavkom'.
Previously, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Dmytro Lazutkin, explained how the money will be paid to volunteers aged 18 to 24.
According to Lazutkin, the amount will be divided into three parts. Upon signing the contract, they receive 200 thousand hryvnias, the second part (300 thousand hryvnias) can be received five working days after basic military training. The last part (500 thousand hryvnias) will be paid on the day the contract ends.
