Kyiv has launched an automatic fines collection system for parking: how it will affect drivers.

Kyiv residents and guests will receive notifications about fines for violating parking rules
The Kyiv City State Administration has announced innovations in the 'Kyiv Digital' mobile application, which will allow users to receive timely notifications about imposed parking fines. Now, app users will automatically receive notifications about fines issued by parking inspectors, as well as about the initiation of enforcement proceedings if the fine is not paid within the established timeframe.
The Department of Territorial Control of the City of Kyiv has started sending documents for the enforcement of unpaid fines in electronic format to the enforcement authorities thanks to the integration of 'Kyiv Digital' with the enforcement system of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
After detecting an infringement, the user will receive a notification with details: the car number, the type of fine, the payment deadline, and the possibility to pay immediately. If the fine is not paid on Time, the app will remind about the enforcement proceedings and provide the contacts of the enforcer
The city administration emphasized that parking fines can be easily avoided by paying them on time. This can be done directly in the 'Kyiv Digital' app in the 'Driver Services' section.
Earlier, residents of Kyiv were introduced to an innovation - a tool to detect fraud through the 'Kyiv Digital' app.
