Former National Basketball Association (NBA) player Michael Carter-Williams spoke about his future in boxing. On May 29, he will face an opponent in a charity fight in New York. This experience has been a new challenge for the ex-basketball player, who decided to try himself in another sport.

“We'll see where this experience leads me, but I definitely want to fight. I know they will try to knock me out. But I am preparing for that myself as well,” noted Michael Carter-Williams.

Michael ended his NBA career in 2023, playing for several different teams. Additionally, it was reported that the final series of basketball took place in Spain, where the women's team 'Valencia' won the championship title.

Alina Yagupova, who plays for 'Valencia' and is the captain of the national team of Ukraine, showcased an impressive performance in the final of the Spanish Championship. This was her second champion title in Spain, marked by a series of impressive results on the court throughout the season.
