Winter Solstice: Didenko spoke about what surprises to expect from the weather.


Ukraine is experiencing the winter solstice with moderate cooling and light precipitation.
From December 21 to 23, a gradual decrease in air temperature is expected across the country.
According to meteorological data, the night temperature will vary from -1 to -5 degrees in most regions. In the eastern part and in the south, temperatures are expected to range from 0 to +4 degrees.
Daytime temperatures in most regions of Ukraine will be around +1 to +4 degrees, with a possible drop to 0 to -2 degrees on Sunday. Warmer weather is expected in the south with temperatures ranging from +3 to +7 degrees, and in Crimea, temperatures may reach +15 degrees.
Precipitation will be uneven across Ukraine. On December 21, rain is expected in the central, eastern, and southern regions, while the north and west will remain dry. On December 22, due to the activation of a cyclone over Crimea, rainy weather is mainly expected in the south and east of Ukraine.
In Kyiv, a moderate decrease in temperature is anticipated. Throughout Saturday, the temperature will remain around +2 to +4 degrees, and at night on Sunday, it will drop to -1 to -3 degrees with a zero temperature during the day.
Precipitation in Kyiv is unlikely, although cloudy weather is expected on Saturday with possible clear skies on Sunday.
Earlier, Ukrainians were informed about the weekends during Christmas and New Year.
