Igor Lutsenko, a politician, public activist, and serviceman, expressed a hypothesis regarding Ukraine's defense spending. He claims that 80% of the expenditure is directed towards traditional weapons, which are not effectively used on the front line, while only 20% of the funds are allocated to systems that are successfully utilized, namely drones. He mentioned this in his interview for 'Glavkom'.

Lutsenko explains that Ukraine spends 300 million UAH on the purchase of 155 mm caliber artillery shells and only 30 million UAH on ammunition for drones. He believes that this ratio needs to be changed considering the effectiveness on the battlefield.

Lutsenko expressed doubts about the effectiveness of the actions of the people's deputies in the defense sector. He criticizes them for the lack of discussions regarding the optimal distribution of defense funds. He also notes that some shells are purchased abroad, although their cost exceeds the price of six fpv drones by six times.

Lutsenko emphasizes the need to develop the drone industry in Ukraine. He considers that many opportunities for drone production in Ukraine remain underutilized. He also highlights several factors that will contribute to the development of this sector, such as the establishment of emergency institutions and the reintegration of the country.

He also claims that the elite refuse to fight, and 80% of the strikes on enemy positions and equipment are made by our drones. Thus, he calls the fighting on the front line a drone war.

Currently, there is not much information about the drone missile 'Bars', as its technical specifications are classified, and images of the new weapon have not been released. Ukraine continues to develop its own weaponry, including drone missiles 'Palyanytsia' and 'Peklo'.
