Will there be an increase in electricity prices for the population: details from the CEO of Yasno.

The CEO of Yasno company, Serhiy Kovalenko, stated that there are currently no plans to raise electricity prices for the population. He wrote about this in his Facebook post.
Kovalensko emphasized that the decision on price increases is made solely by the Cabinet of Ministers.
“Firstly, YASNO and our company representatives said nothing about electricity tariffs for the population. Secondly, this issue is exclusively within the competence of the Cabinet. And there have also been no statements or announcements from them,” said Kovalenko in the statement.
The CEO urged Ukrainians to trust official sources of information: “Thirdly, trust official sources of information, not rumors from 'experts' who decided to use the brand to enhance their fantasies.”
Previously, the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine stated that this winter Ukrainians might face power outages lasting from four to 18 hours a day.
The government assures that there will be no energy supply problems in Ukraine until the end of October and in November, and hopes that this Time winter will pass without outages, as it did last year.
The State Agency for Recovery and Development of Infrastructure has begun construction of the third level of passive protection at the NEC “Ukrenergo” substations, but international partners do not recommend financing such an expensive project until the technology is tested. Previously, the former head of “Ukrenergo” Volodymyr Kudrytskyi stated that Ukraine's energy facilities will receive three levels of protection in the form of engineering fortifications in case of Russian attacks.
Moreover, the European Commission is working on increasing the maximum volume of electricity supply to Ukraine. The G7 countries and other partners have allocated over $4 billion for the restoration of Ukraine's energy infrastructure since the Russian aggression.
