Nadia and Ivan Lenin had to bury their native son three times. The 21-year-old Taras was the commander of a platoon of the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade. Along with his comrades, he died during an air raid in the Kyiv region in March 2022. The bodies of the soldiers were severely mutilated and identified using DNA testing, writes 'Radio Svoboda'.
Only two years later did the family learn that it was not possible to bury all of Taras's body. Another fragment of his remains was found in the Zhytomyr morgue and sent to the family... 'by Nova Poshta'. After such stress, the father of the defender was hospitalized.
'Dug the pit once again, buried again,' - said Ivan Lenin.
For the third Time, the remains of the son were buried in Chernivtsi - in a mass grave, along with fragments of the bodies of comrades.
