Ballerina Karelina wrote a letter to Trump: asking to free three Americans from Russian prisons.

Trump published the letter of US and Russian citizen Ksenia Karelina
US President Donald Trump published a letter sent by former ballerina and citizen of both countries, Ksenia Karelina. This letter was made public on the Truth Social platform. Karelina was incarcerated in Russia and reached out to Trump for help.
In the letter, Karelina thanked the Trump administration for her release, believing he saved her life. She also condemned the previous US administration for inaction in defending the rights of US citizens in Russian prisons. Additionally, Karelina asked Trump to help free three Americans whom she called unjustly sentenced.
Former Marine Robert Gilman, David Barnes, and Andre Khachatryan – all three were named by Ksenia Karelina as unjustly imprisoned, and she urged Trump to help them.
This letter sparked discussions about the issue of Americans imprisoned abroad. It is worth noting that following a recent prisoner exchange with Russia, both sides released their citizens, but many Americans remain in prisons around the world.
