Arestovych spoke about the scandalous 'predictions' of Gordon regarding Putin and Trump.

Arestovych dismissed the possibility of negotiations between the USA and Russia
On December 1, 2024, Oleksiy Arestovych considered the statement of Dmytro Gordon about the unrealized negotiations between the USA and Russia. Gordon claimed that the planned 'historical meeting', which was supposed to end the conflict, did not take place due to Putin's refusal. He pointed to the presence of a Russian plane in Washington as evidence of preparations for negotiations that never occurred.
According to Arestovych, conducting such negotiations is impossible. He explained that Patrushev does not have the authority to conduct negotiations with other countries. This task must be carried out by the president, the minister of foreign affairs, or the head of the foreign affairs administration, according to the competence of each position. Moreover, according to US legislation, holding such meetings is prohibited until the inauguration.
Arestovych emphasized that serious negotiations require extensive preparation. A lot of mediation and coordination of details is conducted before such meetings to ensure success.
He also spoke about the presence of Russian aircraft in the USA, which is explained by the transportation of government officials, diplomats, and other persons from Russia to the USA and vice versa.
Arestovych believes that Gordon's statements are not unfounded and have a certain purpose. An influential figure like Gordon does not make such statements without substantial reasons.
